Ampurdan Bus is dedicated to the regular and discretionary transport of passengers, mainly within the national scope and internationally. The company was founded in 1900.
Currently, Ampurdan Bus is the concessionaire for the line from Figueres to Vilajuïga and its branches (Vilamaniscle, Garriguella, Vilajuïga, Pedret i Marzà, Delfià, Rabós, Mollet de Peralada, Espolla, St. Climent de Sescebes, Capmany, Masarac, Vilarnadal, Vilanova, Peralada, Cabanes, and Vilabertran).
Our company has a quality management system certified according to the following standards:
One of Ampurdan Bus’s main objectives is to ensure that the passengers of our line have all possible comforts (good service, good treatment, good bus…).

For any inquiries, you can contact us during office hours (working days) from Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00, and on Fridays from 09:00 to 14:00.
Advance seat reservations are required for:
- People with reduced mobility, by calling two days in advance.
- Large groups, by calling one day in advance.
4. BASIC RULES
Our company has basic rules in addition to transport regulations.
COMPANY
- Treat passengers with respect.
- Do not exceed the bus seating capacity.
- Always park as close as possible to the sidewalk.
- Drivers must be punctual and responsible.
- A change will be allowed for payments made with notes up to 20 euros on board for the purchase of a single ticket.
- Vehicles adapted for passengers with reduced mobility will be available for the regular line.
- The average age of vehicles performing regular line services will be a maximum of 7 years.
- As of 07/12/2024, the average age of our regular line fleet is 6 years. The oldest vehicle is 6 years old.
- If AMPURDAN BUS has a delay of more than 15 minutes (except in cases beyond the company’s control), the client will be reimbursed the ticket price.
- Our company has reserve vehicles in case of delay or breakdown.
- The company is not responsible for the loss of jewelry, money, phones, luggage, etc. We kindly ask passengers to check for any forgotten items when leaving the bus.
PASSENGERS
- All passengers must have a ticket (vehicle insurance) which can be purchased at the office, from the driver, or from the town halls of each village. Payments should always be made in cash at the mentioned entities and locations at the time of ticket acquisition.
- A 10-ride pass is available, which can be purchased at the same locations specified earlier, offering a 30% discount compared to individual tickets.
- Children under 10 years old must not travel alone; they must be accompanied by an adult.
- Children’s strollers must be placed in the luggage compartment.
- On the journey, passengers must not:
- Drink
- Smoke
- Eat
- Shout
- No passenger will be allowed to board the bus if they pose a danger to others.
- Pets are not allowed, except for guide dogs.
- Children under 3 years old will not pay for regular line tickets.
- The passes consist of 10 rides, and the price of the pass depends on the requested destination, and they will be valid for one calendar year.
